What’s It Like Travelling to the UK in 2021?

We’ve had multiple lockdowns during this pandemic period. The good news is that the government has lifted most local travel restrictions in England, Wales, and Scotland. It’s only in Northern reland that the travel ban remains.

International travellers can only come in if they fall under the amber and green list. Those from red-listed can’t enter. In addition, anyone entering the UK must submit a negative covid test, taken not more than 72 hours before entering the country.

Covid Rules

Here are the covid restrictions to keep in mind for each constituent country.

  • All hospitality venues have reopened with no restrictions on numbers. Masks and social distancing are no longer mandatory.
  • There are no limits on indoor and outdoor meetings, and all businesses can reopen. Masks are mandatory in specific indoor venues.
